A roof replacement for a Southampton home, carried out in preparation for a new skylight.
Preparing a Roof for a New Skylight
The residents of this Southampton home wanted to replace their roof ahead of a new skylight being installed. They needed a high-quality, long-lasting membrane that would also properly protect the skylight. After consulting with the client, our team carried out the work.
The job was mostly straightforward, but we had to plan how to build around the skylight position, giving it sufficient protection without compromising the membrane, while making sure the rest of the roof was protected just as well.
Completed in One Day
We completed the project in one day. We installed new ply across the roof and then a fully adhered single ply membrane system ready for the skylight, so every part of the roof is protected.
The client was pleased with our work and our team's efficiency, and received a 20-year warranty.
