Solar on New Build Apartments

We were asked to install solar panels on the roofs of some newly built apartments so the buildings could use greener energy. Our team consulted closely with the client to fully understand their requirements before starting work.

The main challenge was fitting the panels securely. They are very heavy and, if not installed correctly, can cause severe damage to the property, so each panel had to be stable on the roof surface. The panels also had to be fully waterproof, which needed extra attention to detail during fitting and thorough testing.

Outcome

Secure, Watertight and On Time

We used solar bars, metal tubes with a membrane exterior, to make sure the panels were fully waterproofed. These do not detract from the appearance of the roof and keep the panels secure.

We maintained the integrity of the existing roof surface while fastening the panels securely, and completed the work within the agreed timeframe thanks to careful planning.
