The Project

A Warm Roof for the Paddock Bar

The ply substrate roof was built with a 1:40 fall and a box gutter to meet standard requirements. We installed a BBA certified, loose-laid polythene vapour control layer to manage condensation, and mechanically fixed Evatherm 150mm insulation to prevent wind uplift. Evalon self-adhered single ply membrane was then laid and all laps homogeneously welded.

After drainage calculations, we installed 3 x 110mm vertical outlets to take the volume of water coming off the clad roof and the new membrane roof.
