A Side Extension in Christchurch

River Way was the refurbishment of a domestic property with a new side extension. We gave the client several options and systems to suit them and, more importantly, to be cost-effective. Once the details were confirmed, the client chose to insulate the extension from inside.

The roof was completed with 18mm OSB plywood and a 300mm lay board joining the pitch to the flat. A 50mm drip batten was installed on the outside perimeter to leave room for the fascia and gutter. Evalon VSK single ply membrane was fully adhered to the ply substrate and finished with a 100mm water check and 50mm drip detail.
