The Project

Warm Roof Upgrades at Leydene Road

Our client decided to upgrade all the flat roof areas to warm roofs. The old skylight was letting water through and there were several areas of pooling water. We carried out a core sample test to show how much insulation each roof needed to meet the required U-values.

On the top bedroom roof we installed a tapered insulation scheme and drop-down to eradicate the pooling. Evatherm insulation was bonded to the existing felt roofs, with Alwitra Evalon VSK single ply membrane fully adhered to the insulation. On the kitchen extension, we removed the old skylight frame and built a new timber frame correctly, then installed a sky lantern once the membrane was complete. The roofs were finished with matching trims, and we supplied the new sky lantern.
