The Project

Replacing a Failing School Roof

The school approached us because its existing EPDM roof was failing. We first carried out a roof survey and report highlighting the issues with the existing roof.

Once we had the go-ahead and the scaffolding was installed, we stripped the existing roof covering back to the plywood substrate. We fixed new 18mm plywood before adhering a new Alwitra single ply membrane system, with aluminium trim profiles around the perimeter edge and detailing to the upstand steps throughout the roof. The project was completed in 2 weeks, including final assessment and warranty sign-off for the client.
