The Project

A Slate Extension on a Listed Building

We completed this extension in the specified natural Spanish slate. Two conservation windows were installed with Code 4 lead reveal flashings to comply with the building's listed status. Following the architect's specification, no counter batten was needed on this close-boarded roof, as airflow is created within the roof structure and soffit. We also installed fully welded Code 5 lead to the parapet walls of the outhouse.
