A Green Roof Over an Existing Membrane

We were hired on behalf of ICB projects to install a green roof for a client who runs a surgery in Winchester.

The main challenge was retaining the Alwitra Evalon V single ply membrane already on the roof. The surface was in good condition and damaging it would have meant a costly replacement, so we had to work with care while still fitting the green roof securely. We also had to keep to the agreed timeframe, as green roofs should be installed as quickly as possible to keep disruption to the client to a minimum.
