The Project

A New Build Roof and a Hydrotherapy Room

The 75m² new build top roof was completed in 1.2mm thick Evalon VSK self-adhered membrane laid straight onto 18mm marine ply. A bespoke 220mm flashing was added onto the tiles and finished with a 50mm drip edge.

For the 120m² hydrotherapy room extension, timber falls were built by others to create adequate falls towards the outlet chutes. We used a mechanically fixed system with a loose laid VCL and all joints taped. A 120mm PIR tissue faced flat insulation board was mechanically fixed with enough fixings to comply with regulations, and the roof was completed with Evalon VSK self-adhered membrane up and over the parapet walls, ready for coping stones to be installed.
