The Project

A 250m² Warm Roof Outhouse Extension

We built a 250m² warm roof on this outhouse extension, with 200mm tissue-faced insulation to achieve a 0.11 U-value.

The build-up starts with a Visqueen vapour check VCL to remove the risk of interstitial condensation within the structure. We mechanically fixed 200mm tissue-faced insulation boards to the 18mm plywood substrate using 75mm insulated tubes and carbon fibre fixings, then fully adhered Alwitra 1.2mm VSK single ply membrane to the insulation boards.
